Rock River off-season competition

Today’s most existing trend is Robotics, our new generation is in love with. Designing a robot is like a mind game to them, a fantastic modus operand to engage students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics’ mind blowing activities, those will definitely prepare them for future challenges.
The most fabulous event of the year for high school students is R2OC, annual Rock River offseason Completion held on July 30th, 2016, this event has been arranged since 2013 every year, the task assigned to the different team of competitors this year is to build the robots for athletic.
Rockford robotics, attracting more and more teams to compete with robots as well as the spectators and researchers, it is getting bigger and bigger as more and more teams are now willing to play with robotics in off- season, in 2013 approx. one thousand of spectator visited Rock River valley and see robots to compete, in addition, they demonstrated from first Lego league (a table top game featuring from 4-8) and first Tech challenge (a floor game featuring from 7-12), another most eye-catching scene was the corporate sponsor booths, the visitors got interaction with.
R2OC is basically a prestigious effort in order to combine the rigors of science and technology with athletics, providing a great chance to build and program the robots for sports purposes and Performed prescribed tasks against a wide range of spectacles, that definitely helping them out in Building teamwork skills and to excel with future challenges of leadership, this type of invaluable Learning will contribute the participant teams to cope with leadership requirements when they will seek ouut engineering companies for their future robotic projects.
About 32 teams from different arena got R2OC registration this year and more are expected in upcoming years, as the event got the attention on international level and Rock River valley is not considered as center of excellence to robot lovers, "I want to dirty my hands with robots" said one of the competitors. Another said "The best part of the contest is that every team can participate in elimination round that is the best example of Enthusiastic professionalism, got feel comfortable in playing with robots led me a deep satisfaction, never ever felt in."
Another most attractive point of 2016 event is that participants show their keen interest in bringing out the worthy books for donations, since 2013 the overall donations has now reached to 3300 and likely to grow more in future. This book bank in Rock River valley will overwhelmingly contribute the book reading passion among the new generation, those who prefer to spend their prestigious time out on social websites.
